ElectraWear Duo constantly monitored primary ground smock system: When working with esd sensitive devices it's imperative that all seated technicians be connected to a reliable ground to dissipate harmful static electricity. Typically this is accomplished via the use of ESD wrist straps. However with the new S20.20-2007 standards the wrist strap may now be replaced with a grounded smock that provides a resistance to ground (technician, ground cord and smock of <3.5E07 (35 megs).

ElectraWear Duo provide a quantum leap in 100% compliance. Constructed to provide a very specific range of electrical conductivity and capacitance these smocks work in Concert with our highly refined industry approved ESD Smock monitors. The system test the electrical resistance of the technician, the smock to technician interface, the smock ground cord and ground integrity every second of the working day. An audible and visual alarm reports an issue the second it detects a problem. Although the concept is not new previous attempts required expensive dual wire technology, driving up the cost to a level that often put this type of technology out of the range for a typical esd program budget.

Not so with ElectraWear Duo: Our WOVEN Poly smocks have the looks and feel of a soft combed cotton smock yet are much cooler and specifically modified to provide the optimum resistance levels required by our ElectrAlarm smock monitors. Should the ground cords or smock to technician conductivity become compromised the monitors provide an audible (5 loud beep) signal followed by a red light. Hard to miss and harder to ignore!

PACKAGE CONDUCTIVITY:  Warranted at <3.5E07 for up to 100 washings or 1 year. Typical resistance to ground (smock, technician, ground cord and monitor) 4.25E06 @ 18%rH, 72.3 deg F.

SMOCK AVAILABILITY: ElectraWear Easy Care Plus are available in Crisp White and Midnight Blue colors. Many of these smocks are in stock and ready to ship. Should your style or color not be in stock typical lead time is approximately 3 weeks.

ElectrAlarm DT-020 S: Designed for single smock, includes table top monitoring option.

ElectrAlarm DT-030 S: Designed for single station but monitors 2 smocks and includes table top monitoring option.
